NextGEN'S main efforts involve regional projects and grassroots work. These projects normally meet local needs, provide benefits for the members who are working on them, and are in line with the member’s personal passions.
Our global projects aim to support our worldwide community. They are made possible by the work of the regional circles.
Our current global projects are:

The HitchHiker’s Guide to the Ecovillage
The HitchHiker’s Guide will be an online directory of youth-friendly ecovillages and sustainability projects. It will connect you with trainings, internships, and apprenticeships that welcome youth for short term visits. The directory will indicate how to contact the community, what costs are involved, possible length of stay, and other useful information.
People of all ages are needed to report and share their experiences of ecovillages throughout the world. If you are about to or have recently visited an ecovillage, your input is very welcome. Contact HitchHiker's Guide
WEVE (Willing EcoVillage Energizers)
WEVE is a global project to be piloted in the Findhorn community. It intends to provide young adults with the opportunity to live, learn, and work in an ecovillage. WEVE participants and other funded volunteers will have the opportunity to make a practical contribution to the ecovillage they visit, and share the knowledge they gain from the ecovillage with the rest of the world. To participate and get your community involved a local organization or ecovillage needs to register. Contact: Willing EcoVillage Energizers for information
NextGEN Mentor program
